Lessons
Do you teach complete beginners?
Absolutely. Complete beginners, intermediate and advanced players are all welcome. Lessons are built around your current level, your favourite music, and what you actually want to play — so you make progress on the songs you love, not a fixed syllabus.
How do online lessons work? What do I need?
Just a device with a camera — ideally with Zoom installed, though FaceTime and Google Meet work great too. On the guitar side you'll want your guitar, a tuner or tuner app, an amp if you're playing electric (and a pick, if you want to use one), plus a decent internet connection.
What qualifications do you have?
I hold a 1st Class BA (Hons) Professional Musicianship degree in guitar, and Grade 8 on electric guitar. I've also spent over 10 years teaching and performing across the UK and Europe.
How much do lessons cost?
Online lessons are £45 for a 60-minute one-to-one session. In-person lessons are also available — prices vary subject to location, so get in touch for a quote.
What's your cancellation policy?
There's a 24-hour cancellation policy from the booked lesson time. Cancellations within that window — or no-shows — are charged in full, with no refund.
What if I'm not happy with the lessons?
Every lesson comes with a 100% money-back guarantee if you're not happy with the results you got.
Do you help with grade exams?
Yes — I teach all ABRSM, Trinity and RSL grades on electric, acoustic and classical guitar, from entry level right through to Grade 8.
Gigs & studio sessions
Bookings, live shows & recording
How much do you charge for live performances and studio sessions?
Rates vary depending on the project, the duration and the location. Tell me about the gig and I'll send over a tailored quote.
Do you travel for gigs and events?
Yes — I travel for gigs and events, and have performed across the UK, Europe and internationally. Travel may be reflected in the quote depending on distance.
What are your payment terms?
For gigs, live shows and studio sessions, payment must be made within 30 days of invoicing. After 30 days, late fees will apply.
